Pros Cheap price, great screen resolution
Cons Speakers could be better
Recommended it? Yes

If any of my fellow parents out there are sending their kids off to college as well then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a LCD monitor. My daughter's desk is about the size of 4 2x4s stacked together and a regular monitor would dwarf it!
